Today's post is about something that i would change to the study programme.
So here we go, my actual career is Architecture in "Universidad de Chile", I have been here for almost 2 semesters, and i liked it so much, but not every thing is good, because of the academic charge mostly.
The curriculum of the career is so heavy if you can't organize yourself, so here i will talk a little bit about the subjects, for the first semester there are the subjects of Maths, Geometry, Theory of Architecture, and the main subject of the career "Workshop".
When you join to the university, the schedule and the teachers, are asigned randomly to the students (that is something that i would change totally, just because i think that is a kind of injustice to the students)
The schedule is something that is very important in the life of a student, and now it is something that the system imposes on them, that influences so much on the times and the whole life of them, you can lose a lot of time of your normal life, it is important to learn to organize yourself, that is something that should be considered to teach for the university itself.
The infrastructure of FAU, is a kind of old (many years ago, the faculty used to be a stable), so the classroom are so big and spacious, unlike other people, I like how fau is currently, because that character is that it gives its unique essence.
About teaching methods, the only thing that i can say is that it depends totally of the teacher (amusing or boring classes, good or bad marks, good or bad moments), is incredible to see the diferences at the same subjects, but going to classes of different teachers, taking subjects is a double-edged sword, you have to think that of that moment, all your semester will depend, (laughs).
This is so sad to see in this faculty, and i wish that one day, this situations could change.

I also think that the fact that the infrastructure is old gives the faculty a unique essence, I think that it can improve a lot without losing that
